The Commission of Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Society Prisoner’s Club stated that the Israeli forces arrested (60) Palestinians from the West Bank yesterday, including a woman, in the light of the constant arrests campaign and the systematic collective retaliatory attacks against our people since the 17th of October.

Arrest cases were focused at Bethlehem , Hebron and Nablus, the rest cases were distributed to Salfit , Jenin, Tulkarem, Ramallah, Jerusalem. Arrests are accompanied with torture and abusive attacks against detainees and their families, as well as the policy of collective punishment, destroying property. Case in point is the administrative detainee Nidal Abu Aker, from Duhaisha camp, who spent more 18 years in the Israeli prisons. 

The Commission and the Prisoner’s Club pointed out that (1740) arrest cases have been recorded since ( Al-Aqsa Flood) battle, where these statistics include persons who have been arrested from their houses, checkpoints as well as persons who surrendered themselves under threats of arresting their family members as hostages.
