An-Najah National University congratulates Dr. Saeb Erakat, Professor at the Department of Political Science, the General Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the Head of the PLO’s Negotiations Department, on his recent selection by Kennedy School at Harvard University in the United States as one of four respected and influential global leaders to join the international academic project "The Future of Diplomacy." These leaders will be academic fellows at the Fisher Institute at Harvard University for the 2021-2020 academic year.
This selection is an important contribution to the academic and scholarly career of Dr. Erakat, who authored fourteen books on issues of foreign policy, conflict resolution, negotiations and the conflict in the Middle East.
Dr. Erakat’s intellectual and academic contributions and abundant experiences rigorously enrich the academic life in Palestine and the world, and profoundly empower the Palestinian academic presence at prestigious academic institutions.
