The commission documented the the suffering of detainee Basem Hamdan, 44, from Tammoun, who was subjected to arbitrary violations by the Israeli authorities. They stormed his house at 4:00 am, handcuffed and blindfolded him and attacked him with harsh beating. He was transferred to Megiddo prison and then to Jelboa Prison. He said that he can’t pray unless he’s seated due to the harsh beat on his right leg.
Regarding the detainee Sameh Bani Odah, 23, from Tammoun , he was subjected to the same policy of violations, where they stormed his house, handcuffed and blindfolded him and then took him to Al Jalama interrogation center, where he remained 40 days.
He has been transferred to Megiddo prison, where the situation is very bad in terms of food, bed covers ,clothes, and some detainees sleep at ground. He has severe pain in the chest and moved to Afoula hospital to have checkups, and then he had a surgery in the stomach and remained 5 days in the hospital, and finally transferred to Megiddo prison.
