Tayseer Khaled, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization , member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, said commenting on the departure of former US President Donald Trump: “ The defeat of Donald Trump in the US presidential elections and his departure from the White House removed a danger of fascism rising , not only in the United States of America, but also in other regions of the world, especially in Europe and countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, and the danger of replacing international law and values of freedom, justice and democracy in international relations.
He added that Trump was and is still representing a fascist paradigm in governance and in the management of international relations, and by his departure from the White House after tampering of the mob, who invaded the Congress building on the sixth of this month, the danger receded and the fascist project entered into a latent state, as for his return again as a paradigm of governance, it idepents on the policy and behavior of the new American administration and the extent of its closeness or distancing from the culture to solve the internal tensions left by the years of Trump's rule and takes into account the commonality of states and peoples in immigration, climate, global trade, health and energy fields, and a policy in which it moves away from contempt for international law, legitimacy and international justice.
Khaled stressed in his commen , that the Palestinian people have suffered more than other peoples of the world from Trump's policy, and he is waiting for the new American administration to review the crimes committed against the Palestinian people and work to redress the damage caused by the late administration’s policy to Palestinian interests and national rights by respecting our right to self-determination and shows respect to international law, legality and international justice.
